COURSE OVERVIEW
Small, medium and large businesses are responsible for growing the economy in the country. With a qualification in business management, you will learn about accounting and managing money, computer literacy and the different departments that make up a business, from marketing, public relations and sales. You will also understand the functions of an entrepreneur and how to recruit and manage staff.
Admission Requirements
Any of the following certificates will be accepted at registration:
- Grade 12/N3 Certificate/NVC
- National Senior Certificate
- Level4 Certificate/ABET Level 4 Certificate
Certification and Examination Authority
Learners will receive the following at each level:
- National Certificate N4, N5, N6
- National N Diploma in Business Management on completion of N4-N6 and 18-months of in-service training
- The National N Diploma includes two (2) years of theory and 18-months of in-service training.
All examinations are set and administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The National N Diploma is issued by the DHET.

Further Studies
On successful completion, you will receive a National N Diploma in Business Management and may further your studies at a University of Technology.
