COURSE OVERVIEW

Light current is often referred to as electronics engineering and involves the use of heat, energy and lighting for power distribution. An entry-level technician in light current or instrument engineering will learn about various instruments and will build their knowledge on the theory of Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Instrument Trade Theory and Logistics. You will work closely with qualified engineers and will take their blueprints and put them into action, for example through the building of circuits for various electronic devices.

Admission Requirements

Grade 10, 11 and 12
Mathematics and Physical Science is not a requirement.
