COURSE OVERVIEW

This is an exciting programme for individuals who enjoy applying their mind to answer complex questions. In analytical chemistry, samples are analysed to determine what substances have been used to make the product. An analytical chemist works with all kinds of samples and companies who employ chemists include cosmetics and fragrance producers, chemical manufacturers together with food and beverage producers. Whether pursued full-time or part-time, this qualification will assist learners to follow careers as laboratory analysts or laboratory managers.

Admission Requirements
  • Grade 11, or
  • Two (2) years confirmed work experience

Upon successful completion of this programme, learners will receive a Diploma: Analytical Chemistry issued by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).

Two (2 ) years full-time or three (3) years part-time
