What is a Design Thinking Practitioner?

Design thinking is an approach to problem-solving in which the practitioner seeks to understand a potential product or service’s end user, including their goals, challenges, and aspirations.

Did you know?

Design thinking is the future and it has taken the business world by storm in recent years, with business schools and companies recognizing how this innovative approach can revolutionise the way we approach solving problems.

The purpose of this part-qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Design Thinking Practitioner. Design Thinking Practitioners apply design thinking approaches and methodologies to understand and address complex challenges and to collaboratively create innovative solutions that address human needs. They immerse themselves in the environment and context of the problem and approach it from multiple perspectives and collaboratively analyse, synthesise, and make sense of data to inform the development of relevant and innovative solutions.
