COURSE OVERVIEW

Human Resource Officers play a significant role in the success and stability of an organisation, as they are responsible for keeping employees happy and satisfied. This qualification is designed to equip learners with the relevant knowledge that will enable them to graduate into competent human resource professionals. One of the main roles of HR officers is to advise clients and employers on the recruitment of staff as well as guidance on how to take care of employees once they have been hired. The programme outline will strengthen learners’ leadership and communication skills.

Admission Requirements
  •  Grade 12
  • IBS Higher Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of work experience

Upon successful completion of this programme, learners will receive a Certificate: Human Resource Development issued by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).

Further Studies

Articulation possibilities exist with the Institute of Administration and Commerce (IAC), as learners may choose to write their examination. Upon demonstrating competence, they will be awarded the IAC Certificate in Human Resource Development.
