COURSE OVERVIEW

The qualification aims to teach learners how developmental psychology follows the intellectual and cognitive changes that occur as people move throughout their lifespan, from childhood to adulthood. Mental health issues remain a concern within society. Learners will walk away having acquired basic counselling, research and interpersonal communication skills.

Admission Requirements
  • A National Senior Certificate with a minimum of 45% in English, or
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Upon successful completion of this programme, learners will receive a Certificate: Developmental Psychology issued by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO).

One (1) year full-time or two (2) years part-time
